Found in the only green space in Leeds city centre, The Ambler Club makes you feel at home whether it’s a formal meeting, networking event or for a casual meeting in a relaxed space.
The Ambler Club is in the historic, Grade II listed St Pauls House, which has stood as a staple of Leeds city centre since 1878. The Ambler Club pays homage to not only the building’s designer, English architect Thomas Ambler, but also to the historic Leeds accountancy firm, Bartfields, who joined the Sedulo Group in 2018.
With themed meeting rooms, a leisure space that also doubles up as an events hub and only a stone’s throw from the courts, the Ambler Club is the premium Leeds location for accounting and legal professionals to work and relax.
Founded in 1927 by brothers Isaac and Sam Bartfield, the Bartfields advisory firm has been a staple of the Leeds professional services scene since inception.
The acquisition brought another new dimension to the Sedulo Group offering, with the introduction of forensic accounting. The amalgamation of decades worth of Bartfields’ forensic accounting expertise and the signature Sedulo fresh approach to financial services created the concept and brand, Sedulo Forensic Accountants.
We always remember and honour our legacy, so the Bartfields name has a permanent home in the Ambler Club with its own dedicated meeting charting the firm’s rich history.
